About Me:

My name is Kiana, I’m 29 years old and I moved to Kamloops when I was 2 years old and since moving here I have lived all around town. I graduated high school from Westsyde Secondary School in 2015, and went to Rayleigh Elementary School for my whole elementary career. I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Education at Thompson Rivers University, and I also completed my Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics here before joining the STEM program. I have 1 full sibling, 2 half siblings, and 2 step siblings, but I rarely see any of them. I also have 3 nephews and no nieces :( but hopefully one of my siblings will have another baby and it will be a girl. I don’t want kids of my own, so I will always be the cool aunt and cat mom.

My cat Norman is like a son to me. He is a Sphynx, so he doesn’t have any hair so he’s like a baby. He’s the most cuddly and affectionate cat I’ve ever had, which I learned is just a trait that Sphynx’s have that I didn’t know about before getting him, but I’m so happy about it.

One of my favourite things to do in the summer is go to my family’s lake property at Pavillion Lake. We don’t have a cabin or a fancy house out there, it’s just a couple trailers on a piece of property but we have a gazebo, a fire pit, a hammock, a dock, and a boat, so it’s perfect as is. I didn’t get to spend much time out there last summer due to this program, but I plan on being out there as much as possible this summer.
